At iExcel we provide a flexible approach to the way we work with our customers. The following guideline outlines our work terms and conditions. Additional terms and conditions may be negotiated for each project we accept.
All quotes are provided with a project specification detailing the work to be carried out. Following the quote and where possible a mock up of the final product is also provided. This allows the customer to see and bring modifications before it goes into development.
Any changes to the specifications during the development cycle are chargeable. A full quotation with the added specification may be provided separately upon request.
During the development we will provide test versions of the final applications. These should allow the customer to appreciate the level of advancement of the project as well as test it to unsure it is performing as per requirements.
It is the customer's responsibility to check the test versions for errors and/or problems. iExcel Ltd is not responsible for any errors or the expense resulting directly or indirectly from any errors.
Each round of customer testing (UAT) runs for 15 days maximum. If no feedback is provided by customer within 15 days of testing version reception date by customer, or no further feedback is provided by customer for a period of 15 days after reception of the testing version, the project is considered as accepted.
We reserve the right to cancel a project without returning any deposits, if a customer causes a delay of 28 days or more during the project.
All bug fixing is free for 3 months after project completion date if caused by our programming, then after, bug fixing falls under a support and maintenance contract that can be established by customer from the completion date of the project.
Once the project is completed, any further change to the specification or any additional work on the project is chargeable. Project is considered complete once its original concept or scope has been fulfilled.
When the project is complete and payment is received the project is delivered to the customer.
Quotes are valid for 30 days only unless indicated otherwise.
Sometimes it becomes necessary to change the specification of a project part way through the project. If this results in extra work and charge, a separate quote with a separate order may be required.
If work is required on the customer's site, travel, accommodation and sustenance costs will be payable by the customer within 7 days.
If work is required on the customer's site abroad, travel, accommodation and sustenance costs will be payable by the customer in advance.
A 50% non-returnable deposit is required for all orders with the balance due on completion. iExcel Ltd reserves the right to with-hold or time lock files until full payment has been received.
If any payment date is missed, iExcel Ltd reserves the right to apply a 5% monthly interest and to require 100% payment up front on all future orders.
If the customer reasonably disputes any portion of an iExcel Ltd invoice, the customer must pay the undisputed portion of the invoice and submit written notice of the claim (with sufficient detail of the nature of the claim, the amount and invoices in dispute and information necessary to identify the affected Service(s)) for the disputed amount. All claims must be submitted to iExcel Ltd in writing within thirty (30) days from the date of the invoice for those Services. Customer waives the right to dispute any charges not disputed within such thirty (30) day period. In the event that the dispute is resolved
against the customer, the customer shall pay such amounts plus interest at the rate referenced in these terms and conditions.
Our preferred payment method is by bank transfer. Please note the customer is responsible for paying transfer costs. We accept all major currencies, however payment must be made in the currency stated on the invoice. Should you require changing currency, please ask us to re-issue the invoice in your desired currency. Invoiced amount is to be received in full before we can release your application.
